Every Hongkonger expect a better learning experience and environment, but difficulties often occur as a result of communication. Learning at Wall Street English, with the help of Kay, my education consultant, she has a good judgement on my learning objectives by providing excellent supporting resources, and I really enjoyed the wonderful centre activities and the help from all centre staff.
Teachers are all very professional, which enabled me to have significant improvement within a short period of time. The time and resources spent on learning English, in my opinion, were definitely worth it.

I was hoping to study agricultural science at a highly regarded institution in Australia, but my original IELTS score of 6.5 was not enough for a successful application.
I had taken the IELTS exam twice before, but it seemed that my performance was rather inconsistent, and I needed a methodology to follow. Thankfully, I chose Wall Street English’s IELTS course, it did not disappoint and fulfilled my learning demands. The strategies that we learned in class, particularly for speaking and writing, were highly relevant and impactful in the exam. They really helped me build up my confidence to take the exam and know that I will do well.
I like the way that the course is structured into different modules, such that we can gain exposure to different topics and have enough time to study each part, as well as learning the related vocabulary in every class. To be honest, I used to be rather weak with learning new vocabularies but with the help that I have received, I felt like I know a bit of everything and getting a band 8 was certainly reachable. Previously, I didn’t even know that Wall Street English offers mock exams as well . If I had known about it beforehand, I definitely would have taken it too to gain an even better insight as to what I should focus more on. After all, I think in order to do well in any exams, the candidate should be familiar with the exam setting, so going through a simulation beforehand would be worth its weight in gold.
I strongly advise anyone who wants to improve their English to join Wall Street English. Meanwhile, I am also getting my brother to enrol as well, since he has plans of his own and he knows that having a good IELTS report card means it can open up many opportunities in the future.

In January 2021, my family decided to live in another country. I thought my English is not enough to use for living in an English-speaking country. My wife asked me to get a piece of advice from Wall Street English. I remember that when I first met Ernest. At that time, I couldn’t answer him by using more than two complete sentences. My English skills were really bad at that time, especially for output skills. (Writing and Speaking) Ernest advised me to join the EN/CC/SC classes. It is not exaggeration to say that practice makes perfect.
I am secondary student and I have been studying at Wall Street English for about 2 years. So did I make some progress? The answer is yes, indeed. I struggled a good deal to speak in English with other people and always felt insecure about it. But now, I guess it is not exaggeration to say that practice makes perfect. I was able to learn a couples of new things every time I came over.
Due to the all-English environment, I felt more exposed to a situation where you need to practice more. Even though, sometimes when my mind goes black because I was too nervous, both my classmates and the teacher would help me, so I always ended up having a nice conversation with them. So, it is only matter of time for you to be more confident when communicating in English.

My teacher is very interesting, calm, and patient; I was able to focus in class as he explained things clearly and in detail. I enjoyed that he asked all students to speak and join the group discussion, and guided us to express what we would like to say, as well as correcting grammar mistakes during class. Professional teachers are key to learning English
Marcus is a very knowledgeable, pleasant, and funny teacher. He has a lot of patience on teaching low level students, and his classes were interesting. He checked if we have done homework and if we were well-prepared at the beginning of the classes. He would explain a lot and gave us extra examples to confirm that we understood the grammar before ending the classes. He also put a lot of effort on correcting our pronunciation.
Naseem’s (our Personal Tutor) Social Clubs made me so happy. I could see how much preparation he did for every class. He is funny, but also caring. My name is Charmaine and I am currently a form 6 student. Getting into a world-renowned University such as the University of Cambridge has always been my goal and dream, but that means I need to achieve a score of at least 7.5 on the IELTS exam. So, I did a little bit of research and found Wall Street English as one of the IELTS preparation course providers on the market.
Prior to taking the course, I was quite worried about my speaking and writing and was not sure how I would perform in the exam. So, it was really comforting to know that my teacher, Walter, is extremely experienced and knowledgeable in these areas. Over the duration of the course, I was able to acquire some very practical skills and tactics and learned how they could be applied to the weekly speaking and writing exam tasks. That together with valuable teacher feedback really helped us boost both our ability and confidence.
The one-on-one mock session near the end of the course was also quite impressive. The whole experience felt authentic and Walter was thoughtful enough to include some surprise topics along with a few challenging questions just to see how I would react. That proved to be very useful because I felt more than prepared when the time came for the actual exam.
I am happy to say that I achieved my target IELTS score and have recently submitted my application to Cambridge. Although I am feeling a little anxious as I am waiting for their reply, I am extremely excited at the same time about my future. I would like to express my sincere gratitude to my teacher Walter and Wall Street English for making this possible.

My name is Gabriel and I am a 16-year-old high school student. I am planning to develop overseas and need to take the IELTS exam. For this reason, I decided to enroll in Wall Street English’s IELTS course after completing Level 15 of the Practical English course. I chose WSE again because they helped me strengthen my English foundation, which will help me learn more advanced English skills. My goal is to get a score of 7 in next year's IELTS test, and with the support of WSE, I believe I can do it!
After studying at WSE for a while, I find myself more confident than ever! In the past, the vocabulary I could use was too limited, but now I can flexibly use a rich vocabulary to express the same meaning! The oral practice in CC class not only made me more fluent in English, but also greatly improved my confidence in communicating with others. The teachers at WSE were very friendly when talking to me and often encouraged me in the learning process. Their standard English pronunciation enabled me to understand various accents of foreigners.
I couldn't imagine that the Social Club would be such an enjoyable and relaxing way to help me learn English! I was deeply impressed by one of the SC classes about food. In the class, I learned a lot of popular dishes in foreign countries, which really opened my eyes! I really like the relaxed learning atmosphere and interesting topics of SC class, which are not available in traditional schools.
